Terms of service

This page is the official agreement between Mehran Host and its customers. Signing up or using our services means you fully accept these terms, so please read them before placing an order.

1. General terms and definitions#

In this document, the “Provider” means “Mehran Host”, and the “Customer” means any individual or legal entity that has signed up on the website or uses the services. The “Service” includes hourly cloud servers, virtual servers, DNS management and any other service delivered through the customer panel.

These terms form the official agreement between the Provider and the Customer and have been drawn up within the framework of the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the Electronic Commerce Act, the Computer Crimes Act and the regulations of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA).

2. Acceptance of the terms#

Signing up on the website, placing an order or using any of the services constitutes reading and fully accepting these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not place an order.

The Customer is responsible for staying informed of the latest version of this page; the date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page.

3. Sign-up, identity verification and accounts#

  • You must provide accurate and complete information (name, email address and a valid phone number) when signing up. Inaccurate information may lead to the account being suspended.
  • The mobile number must belong to the person signing up and, when the verification system is active, its ownership is checked.
  • Each person may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to get around limits or to abuse discounts is prohibited.
  • The Customer is responsible for keeping their password confidential, and all activity carried out through an account is recorded in the account holder’s name.
  • A service may be transferred to a third party only with the Provider’s knowledge and approval, requested through a support ticket.

4. Orders, provisioning and service specifications#

  • Servers are created automatically, usually in under 60 seconds after the order is placed.
  • The service specifications (CPU, memory, disk, traffic and IP address) are those the Customer selects when ordering and can be viewed in the customer panel.
  • Managing the operating system, software and configuration inside the server is the Customer’s responsibility; servers are provided unmanaged unless otherwise agreed.
  • The Provider does not access a server without the Customer’s request, except where necessary for security or legal reasons, in which case it acts in accordance with the privacy section.

5. Hourly billing, wallet and payment#

  • Billing is hourly and usage-based: the cost of each period is deducted from the Customer’s wallet balance.
  • When the “top-up bonus” is active, wallet top-ups above the published amounts receive a set percentage of bonus credit, which is added to the balance as soon as the payment is confirmed and recorded under “Transactions”. The tier table is published on the website, and the Provider may change it for future top-ups.
  • Charges are always calculated at the current rates published on the website. If rates are revised, the new rate applies to existing servers from the time it takes effect, and no change is applied retroactively. Prices agreed individually with a specific customer remain fixed until the next agreement.
  • A powered-off server still keeps its resources (RAM, CPU, disk and IP address) reserved and is billed at 50% of its hourly rate. The only way to stop charges entirely is to delete the server.
  • Itemized deductions and traffic usage can be tracked in the “Transactions” section of the customer panel, and the records kept in the Provider’s system are the basis for all charges.
  • Wallet top-ups are made through bank payment gateways approved by the Central Bank of Iran. If money is deducted from your account without your balance increasing, the bank automatically refunds it within 72 hours at most; otherwise, it is followed up through a support ticket.
  • An official invoice is issued at the Customer’s request once the required details are provided.

6. Suspension and deletion#

If the wallet balance becomes negative, the service is suspended automatically to prevent further debt. Once the account is topped up, the service is reactivated.

A suspended service is kept for 7 days. Once this period ends, the server and all of its data are permanently deleted. The Customer is responsible for making a backup before this stage is reached.

In the event of a breach of the “Prohibited uses” section, the Provider may suspend or delete the service without prior notice and without a refund and, where necessary, report the matter to the competent authorities.

7. Refunds#

Every refund request is reviewed respectfully and on a case-by-case basis; however, refunds are made only within the framework of the clauses below and when a specific reason is given. Refunds without a clear reason, including cancelling after the service has been delivered or simply changing your mind, are not possible.

  • Charges for the hours during which the service was at the Customer’s disposal (whether powered on or off) are non-refundable.
  • Unused wallet credit is refundable upon a written request submitted through a ticket and after the account has been reviewed. Bonus credit (including tiered top-up bonuses and promo code rewards) and non-cash amounts are excluded from this rule and are not refunded; when a refund is requested, the refundable amount is calculated after deducting all bonus credit received in full.
  • If the service was suspended or deleted because of a breach by the Customer, no amount is refunded.
  • Refund requests must be submitted through the ticket system together with a description of the reason. Requests without a reason, or outside the cases above, are respectfully declined in the same ticket; in that case the amount remains in the wallet as credit and is available for future services.

8. Prohibited uses#

Using the service for any of the following is prohibited and results in immediate suspension without a refund:

  • Any activity that violates the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran or international law.
  • Network attacks (including DDoS), scanning, intrusion or attempts to gain unauthorized access to other people’s systems.
  • Hosting or distributing malware, ransomware, hacking tools, phishing and fake pages.
  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk email, or any behavior that causes the Provider’s IP addresses to be placed on blocklists.
  • Setting up services that circumvent internet filtering, or selling them.
  • Hosting pornographic, offensive or copyright-infringing content, gambling, betting, unauthorized currencies and pyramid schemes.
  • Cryptocurrency mining and any process that continuously occupies the full capacity of the CPU or disk and degrades service quality for other customers.
  • Reselling the service under another name without coordinating with the Provider.

Whether a breach has occurred is determined by the Provider; in unclear cases, the Customer is first notified through a ticket.

9. Data and backups#

  • The Customer is responsible for keeping their data and making backups. We recommend enabling the backup service and keeping a copy of critical data outside the server.
  • Deleting a server, reinstalling the operating system or changing the operating system permanently erases all data on the disk.
  • The Provider accepts no liability for data loss resulting from Customer error, an intrusion caused by insecure server configuration, or deletion of the service.

10. Service levels and support#

  • The Provider’s target is 99.9% infrastructure availability each month. Planned maintenance windows are announced in advance and are not counted in uptime calculations.
  • Technical support is provided around the clock through the ticket system in the customer panel; requests are prioritized by the type and severity of the issue.
  • Issues that originate from configuration inside the server, software installed by the Customer, or the Customer’s internet provider fall outside the scope of support; even so, the support team will help as far as possible.
  • Loss of access to an IP address caused by a decision of regulatory authorities or by filtering is beyond the Provider’s control; in such cases, after review, the IP address can be replaced.

11. Privacy and data protection#

  • Customers’ identity and contact details are used solely to provide the service, issue invoices and send notifications, and are not shared with third parties.
  • Information is disclosed only on the order of competent judicial and legal authorities.
  • Content inside a Customer’s server is treated as confidential, and the Provider does not access it without the Customer’s permission or a legal requirement.
  • For service security and troubleshooting, technical records such as panel login logs, transactions and resource usage are retained.

12. Intellectual property#

All rights to the name, trademark, website design, customer panel and tutorials belong to Mehran Host. Tutorials may be republished with credit and a link to the original page. Responsibility for respecting copyright in content the Customer places on their server lies with the Customer.

13. Changes to pricing and terms#

The Provider may revise its rates and these terms. Rate changes do not apply retroactively, but from the time they take effect they apply to all active servers, except for prices agreed individually with specific customers. Significant changes are announced through panel announcements or by email.

14. Force majeure#

The Provider is not liable for service outages caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, nationwide power or internet outages, government decisions, war and strikes, and such events do not give rise to compensation; nevertheless, every effort will be made to restore the service as quickly as possible.

15. Termination#

The Customer may end the relationship at any time by deleting their services. The Provider may also stop providing service if these terms are breached or if support staff are treated in an unprofessional or abusive manner.

16. Dispute resolution and governing law#

The parties will try to resolve disputes through negotiation and the ticket system. Failing that, disputes will be settled under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the competent judicial authorities. Records kept in the customer panel, tickets and system logs may be relied on as valid evidence.

17. Contact#

All requests, complaints and follow-ups are submitted through the ticket system in the customer panel. This is the most official and fastest way to reach Mehran Host, and its records remain available to both parties as evidence.

Questions about these terms?

Ask our support team about anything that is unclear before you order. Answers are recorded in the ticket, so both sides can rely on them later.
